The engines employed are the advanced LOMBARDINI full overhead control system (FOCS) range with integrated injection pump and injectors in one component located above the combustion area
This innovative system allows an accurate fuel injection adjustment with reduced smoke and minimal unburned fuel in the exhaust.
The resulting low pollution levels mean the generator engine is fully approved for use on the inland waterways in standard form.
Another benefit of the injection accuracy lower noise, further aided by the sophisticated VTE soundshield.
By avoiding the need to ventilate the capsule, by watercooling the AC alternator as well as the engine, the PAGURO is the quietest generator in its class.
