The Series 300 is listed to UL 1008 standard for Transfer Switch Equipment and CSA standard C22.2 for automatic transfer switches. Meets NFPA 110 for Emergency and Standby Power Systems and the National Electrical Code (NEC) Articles 700, 701 and 702. 30 through 3000 amps in a compact design. Available to 600 VAC, single or three phase. True double-throw operation: The single solenoid design is inherently inter locked and prevents contacts from stopping between sources or from being in contact with both sources at the same time.

The ATS shall be furnished in a NEMA type 1 enclosure unless otherwise shown on the plans.
Provide strip heater with thermostat for Type 3R enclosure requirements.
Controller shall be flush-mounted display with LED indicators for switch position and source acceptability.
It shall also include test and time delay bypass switches.
Voltage and Frequency Sensing
The voltage of each phase of the normal source shall be monitored
Pickup adjustable to 95% of nominal and dropout adjustable from 70% to 90% of pickup setting.
Single-phase voltage and frequency sensing of the emergency source shall be provided.
An adjustable time delay provided to override momentary normal source outages
Delays all transfer and engine starting signals.
An adjustable time delay provided on transfer to emergency
Adjustable from 0 to 5 minutes for controlled timing of transfer of loads to emergency.
A generator stabilization time delay shall be provided after transfer to emergency.
An adjustable time delay shall be provided on retransfer to normal, adjustable to 30 minutes.
Time delay shall be automatically bypassed if emergency source fails and normal source is acceptable.
A 5-minute cooldown time delay shall be provided on shutdown of engine generator.
All adjustable time delays shall be field adjustable without the use of special tools.
